FACEBOOK: Who is following me now?

By Fred Andrews

PROTECT YOURSELF & PRIVACY ON FACEBOOK

If you have a Facebook account you may not realize that there are lurkers that are keeping tabs on your every move without your knowledge. You may be surprised to see how many potentially bad actors are following you for some unknown reason.

When I first learned how to remove these unknowns from following me I was shocked to see how many there are. I check back often to see, and remove these viewers from my account. This is what has inspired me to advise others on how to take control.

Please follow the steps below to take action and protect your privacy.

Step 1: Sign into your Facebook account.

Step 2: Look to the upper right side of your Facebook window and click on the "down" arrow.

Step 3: Scroll down and click on the "Settings" option.

Step 4: On the left look for the "Blocking" option and select.

Step 5: Go to the "Block Users" section, and add the words "following me".

Step 6: Remove the unwanted "friend" from following you.

There is no way to remove all of the names at one time so you will have to delete one at a time.

Check back frequently to maintain your privacy and safety.
